Plan the frame before you print

Turn a wall width into a clear frame layout. You choose how much wall the artwork should occupy, and the planner does the arithmetic.

Measure the usable wall width. For framed art, use the outside edge of the frame, not only the printed sheet.

Each frame: 68 × 102 cm

Total artwork span: 144 cm, including one 8 cm gap.

This is a planning result, not a framing rule. Round to a frame size you can actually buy, then check the total span once more.

What the planner calculates

The coverage is your choice. At 60 percent, a 240 cm wall gives the whole arrangement 144 cm. With two frames and an 8 cm gap, 136 cm remains for the frames, so each one is 68 cm wide.

The selected proportion turns that width into a height. Nothing is hidden behind a style recommendation, and the result changes immediately when you change any input.

Before ordering a frame

  • Measure the clear wall area after accounting for doors, lamps and furniture.
  • Use the outer frame dimensions when you compare the result with a shop listing.
  • Keep the same gap between every frame in a row.
  • Print smaller than the frame only when a mount is part of the plan.
