Who you are buying from
Moonleaf draws the artwork, writes the printing guides and licenses the files. The sale itself runs through Paddle. Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as the merchant of record, which means Paddle is the seller on the order and your contract of purchase is with Paddle. Paddle takes the payment, handles the tax and issues the receipt. Paddle's own terms apply to that part of the transaction, and these terms cover the artwork, the licence and everything we are responsible for.
What you are buying
Every item on this site is a digital file. There is no physical product, nothing is printed for you and nothing is posted. After the payment is confirmed the file is available to download straight away, and the same link is sent to the email address given at checkout. What is in each download is listed on the page of the piece and on the pricing page: the artwork at its full resolution, a printing guide and a licence for personal use.
The master files are prepared at 3328 by 4864 pixels for the poster format, which prints to 28 by 41 centimetres at 300 dpi, and at 4096 by 4096 pixels for the colouring pages, which prints to 35 by 35 centimetres. Printing smaller than that only raises the density. We do not promise sizes beyond those figures.
Your licence
When you buy a piece, you get a licence to use it privately. The copyright stays with Moonleaf.
- You may print the file as often as you like for your own home, print it again when a frame or a room changes, and give a printed copy as a personal gift.
- You may not resell the file or a print of it, pass the file on, upload it anywhere, or share it with people outside your household.
- You may not use it commercially. That includes selling prints, products or merchandise carrying the artwork, using it in advertising, and using it as part of a paid or free product of your own.
- You may not claim the artwork as your own work, or offer it as a template, mockup or asset elsewhere.
If you would like to use a piece in a way this licence does not cover, write to us at hello@moonleaf.art. Some of it is possible by arrangement, and it costs nothing to ask.
Delivery and availability
Delivery is a download. The link appears once the payment has gone through and is also sent by email, so a closed browser tab is not a lost purchase. If a link does not work, if a file is incomplete or if the email does not arrive, write to us at hello@moonleaf.art and we will get the file to you.
We keep the site and the downloads working with reasonable care, and we do not promise that they are reachable without interruption. Maintenance, a hosting fault or something outside our control can make the site unavailable for a while. That does not affect a file you have already bought.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page and on each piece, in euro. Value added tax depends on the country you buy from and is shown at checkout, where Paddle also handles the payment methods available to you.
Moonleaf is billed under the name VIANERDS, the name behind the brand, so the charge on your card or bank statement reads VIANERDS rather than Moonleaf.
Refunds and the right of withdrawal
Digital content that is delivered immediately follows different rules from a parcel, and we have written the whole of it out on the refund policy. The short version: if a file is faulty, incomplete or not what the page described, write to us and we will fix it or refund it.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of an obligation that is essential to this contract, and in that case limited to the damage that is foreseeable and typical for a contract of this kind. Liability under the German Product Liability Act is unaffected.
Printing happens on your own equipment, so the result depends on your printer, your paper and your settings. The printing guide in every download says what we have found to work, and it is advice rather than a guaranteed outcome.
Applicable law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection given to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country you live in.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for future purchases, for example when the range or the checkout changes. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you buy. The date at the top of this page says when it was last changed.
