Sizes it prints at

One file, several sizes. The largest is 28 x 41 cm, which is the master at its full 3328 by 4864 pixels. Printing it smaller only raises the density, so anything below that size is sharper again.

What is in the picture

The cabbage is shown whole and nearly spherical, with broad overlapping leaves drawn tightly around the head. Its colour moves from plum and aubergine into deeper burgundy at the folds. Pale branching veins travel across each leaf and make the structure visible without opening the head.

Where it earns its place

This is the colour note of the three. It warms pale wood and cream walls, and gives a kitchen with green plants one darker point to rest on. Hung between the other two, its round silhouette anchors the taller bok choy and the more ruffled Savoy.

Printing this one

Purple shifts easily on thin or very cool paper. A warm matte art stock keeps the aubergine tones deep without turning them blue. Print at normal or best quality and at actual size, then let the sheet dry flat before framing.
