Sizes it prints at
One file, several sizes. The largest is 28 x 41 cm, which is the master at its full 3328 by 4864 pixels. Printing it smaller only raises the density, so anything below that size is sharper again.

What is in the picture
The crop is tight. Ears, horns and the top of the neck fill the sheet, and the face is turned straight to the viewer. The muzzle and brow are laid in as soft washes, the long lashes and the dark nostrils are drawn over them in fine ink lines, and the neck carries the familiar patch pattern in chestnut brown with cream running between the shapes.
The background is cream with a few loose sage and sand coloured blooms of paint and a scatter of small brown speckles. It is the busiest of the three nursery pieces, and the one that looks back at you.
Where it earns its place
A tight portrait needs a little distance to be read, so this one does better on a wall you walk towards than on the one you sit directly beneath. Beside a doorway, at the end of a hallway or above a low shelf, it is the piece that greets you. Hung next to the elephant it should sit to one side rather than in the centre, so that two faces are not looking at you at once.
Printing this one
The lashes and the speckles are the first things draft mode throws away, and without them the face goes flat. Use the normal or best quality setting and give it paper that does not spread ink, matte photo stock rather than plain copier paper. The chestnut patches carry a lot of ink, so let the sheet dry flat for a minute before it goes anywhere near glass.
