Mortal Shell II has an open beta you can play now

The free Steam build covers the opening three hours. This guide tells you what is inside, what carries into the full game and whether your PC meets the stated requirements.

This is a substantial opening slice, not a combat test

Cold Symmetry describes the build as the first three hours of Mortal Shell II. It begins with the prologue, then opens into the first explorable region. You can possess Shells, cleanse beacons, enter optional dungeons and find hidden challenges on the route toward Magdalena.

The beta is unfinished software. The developer warns that bugs, rough edges and performance issues are possible. Treat it as an early look at the game, not a finished review copy.
